the process

  • step 1 - contact

You want your Grad captured in a way that feels real, confident, and true to who they are.
When you reach out, we’ll start by getting to know each other. I’ll learn about your Grad’s personality, interests, and what this milestone means to them.

This first connection helps me understand their story so I can plan a session that feels comfortable, natural, and genuinely them.

  • step 2 - plan

Once everything is official, we’ll plan the perfect location and talk through how to prepare your Grad so the session feels relaxed and easy. I’ll guide you on what photographs well outdoors and help you choose a spot that feels meaningful and reflects your Grad’s style.

  • step 3 - your photo day!

Enjoy your session at a beautiful outdoor location. This is your Grad’s time to relax, have fun, and feel confident in front of the camera. We’ll capture natural moments - the smiles, the personality, and everything that makes this year such a big milestone.

  • step 4 - gallery

You’ll receive your Grad photos in a beautiful custom online gallery, easy to view, download, and share.

If you’d like help choosing which images would look best printed or framed, I’m always happy to guide you - at no extra cost.

Printing your Grad photos often ends up at the bottom of the to-do list — and deciding what to do with them can feel overwhelming.

Your gallery doesn’t just include digital downloads. You’ll also have direct access to order high-quality prints and products right from your gallery. And if you’re unsure what sizes or finishes would look best in your home, I offer complimentary guidance to help you choose.

Digital files are wonderful for safekeeping, but having your Grad’s photos printed and displayed is what truly brings this milestone to life for you and your family.

I get so much joy working with high school and college grads. This is such a meaningful, transitional time - full of growth, possibility, and that mix of confidence and uncertainty that makes these years unforgettable. It’s an honour to be part of it.

As a mom of two teens, I know firsthand how quickly this chapter moves. One minute it’s school drop-offs, dance rehearsals, and rugby practices - the next it’s graduation gowns, college plans, and big decisions about what comes next.

Watching my own kids grow has shown me how important it is to pause and celebrate this moment in your Grad’s life. The friendships, the effort, the personality, and all the small details that tell the story of who they are right now.

That’s why I love photographing grads - capturing the real, in-between moments that show their confidence, their character, and their journey, right before everything changes.

  • My photography style is natural, relaxed, and focused on capturing who you truly are — not just how you look. I combine lifestyle and documentary approaches to create images that feel effortless, genuine, and full of personality.

Your grad session isn’t about stiff poses or forced smiles. It’s about celebrating this moment in your life — the confidence you’ve built, the person you’ve become, and everything that’s ahead. I’ll guide you through the session so it feels comfortable and fun, while still delivering images that look timeless and authentic.

The result is a generous gallery of photographs that tell your story — portraits that reflect your individuality and mark this milestone in a way that feels honest and real. These are images you’ll want to share, frame, and look back on years from now, remembering exactly who you were in this season of life.

  • Your grad photos should reflect you — your style, your personality, and this exciting time in your life. There’s no need for stiff suits or outfits that don’t feel authentic. The most important thing is to be comfortable and confident.

Choose pieces that make you feel good, move easily, and match your vibe — whether that’s jeans and sneakers, a flowy dress, or a casual button-up. You can also bring a second outfit and a few personal items from your hobbies to make your session even more unique.

See this blog post for outfit ideas and inspiration.

  • Absolutely. Your grad photos are meant to be shared, saved, and celebrated — and I know how important it is to have access to your digital images.

I offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you’ll receive all the high-resolution digital files from your session, delivered via direct download with a print release. You can expect a minimum of 75 edited images (often more), provided in both colour and black and white.

You’ll also have access to professional prints and products directly through your online gallery — perfect for graduation announcements, gifts for family, or framed artwork to remember this milestone.
